message: The Main Idea Of The work 
work ethic: The responsibilities, organization, attitude, honesty, etc when working
employability skills: Certain skills an employer may look for
20/20 Rule: Every 20 minutes you look 20 feet away 
Right-To-Know Laws: Regulation the makes employer tell workers about all hazardous things they may encounter in the job
icon- An image that gets the product across
vector-based graphics- An image that can be made bigger or shrunk while keeping it's quality
specs/specifications of a project- The basis of what you nee to include in your image
dialog box (within an application)- A place where text shows what a character is saying
palette (within an application) - an area where all the tools are kept
guidelines- The base in which the designer has to put a specific image/text.

contextual menu- Menu in a GUI when a designer interacts w/ the document
clipping mask- A shape that is used to rid every object outside the area

hue- Color

primary colors- colors used to create other colors, most basic

secondary colors- colors that primary colors make from mixing

tertiary colors- Secondary and primary colors mixed together

neutral colors- Colors used to tone down or bring out an object

continuous tone image- color that is not broken within a picture.
resolution- P/i in an image

file size- how much memory is taken up by pic

typography- the art, craft, or process of composing type and printing from it 

typeface- A typeface is a set of characters of the same design

serif- any of the short lines stemming from and at an angle to the upper and lower ends of the strokes of a letter

body type- bold, italic...

display type- Type fonts such as Avant Garde, Caesar, Garmond, that are usually larger than text fonts and give distinctivepersonality to a printed or displayed 

reverse type- Copy which is printed in white against a color background  

point size- The size of a font measured in points..
