icon- An image that gets the product across
vector-based graphics- An image that can be made bigger or shrunk while keeping it's quality
specs/specifications of a project- The basis of what you nee to include in your image

file size- how much memory is taken up by pic
typography- the art, craft, or process of composing type and printing from it 
typeface- A typeface is a set of characters of the same design
serif- any of the short lines stemming from and at an angle to the upper and lower ends of the strokes of a letter

display type- Type fonts such as Avant Garde, Caesar, Garmond, that are usually larger than text fonts and give distinctivepersonality to a printed or displayed 
reverse type- Copy which is printed in white against a color background
