I love how the card looks very friendly and warm to look at

I like the simplicity in it


I like how all the pieces have the "GR" on it in a low opacity


I like how all the pieces have that plant  detailing on it

LogoTypes

Def- Graphic mark or emblem commonly used by commercial enterprises, orgs and even individuals to aid and promote instant public recognition


Includes- logographic languages (like Egyptian Hieroglyphics)


Types were changing with the time and evolution o design
In 1890 the US had 700 lithographic printing firms and more than 8k employees


modernism- easier to read and look at

books were expanding audiences


LESS IS MORE - real people don't stare at logos




Effective Logo design-
Simple- something unxpected or simple
Memorable- simplicity is memorable
Timeless- stand out. Will it stand out in 10-20 years?
Versatile- vector

will it look good in B&W

Appropriate- for audience

4 Color- CMYK. Printing w/ full color
Spot colo- Method in which each color is printed w/ its own ink. When the printed matter only has 1-3 colors

Pantone Matching System- colors used while trying to make a spot design

Chose your color wisely
Color can get certain emotions and feeling from audience

Interpretation- varies for audience and follow color trends

Iconic symbolic- simplified pics, still complelling
